At Southern Cross Medical Centre, we are committed to offering our patients a comprehensive range of primary care services. Our experienced doctors have a broad spectrum of medical skills and interests, and they are very well supported by a team of nurses and allied health practitioners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our practice\u2019s origins go back to 1978. The practice started with one doctor in Somerville Road in that year and has grown steadily since. It was in 1990 that we moved to our current location and took on the name of Southern Cross Medical Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The number of doctors and the types of facilities and services at the practice has progressively increased over time. These days Southern Cross Medical Centre is an integral part of the Hampton Park community. Importantly we are open every day of the year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our clinic is accredited by Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL) which means we have demonstrated that we provide high-quality, safe care in an environment that supports continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Southern Cross Medical Centre is also known for its excellence in General Practice training.  We are highly coveted as a GP registrar training practice and take pride in training qualified doctors to become excellent GPs.  Many of the current GPs consulting at Southern Cross Medical Centre and our sister clinic Fountain Gate Medical Centre have decided to return after training with us in the GP registrar program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
